Margaret Mardirossian
President & Executive Producer

A master storyteller and trailblazer, Margaret Mardirossian is the founder and executive producer of Anaïd Productions and oversees all aspects of Anaïd’s creative affairs. Margaret’s passion for promoting Canadian talent and Canada’s broadcast industry has led her to serve on the Boards of several industry associations. In 2000, Margaret was a recipient of the Global Television’s “Woman of Vision” award.

Margaret’s first documentary, Ronnie Burkett: A Line of Balance, won the Canadian Conference of the Arts Rogers Award for most innovative arts documentary, and helped establish Anaïd Productions in 1993.

Since then, Margaret has produced over 300 hours of television, including the Gemini award-winning series Mentors (Family Channel), Taking It Off (Life Network) which was also featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, the internationally acclaimed X‑Weighted (Slice), The Liquidator (OLN), Hail Mary (Citytv), The Rig (OLN), The Quon Dynasty (Citytv and OMNI), winner of the 2012 Alberta Film and Television Award for Best Documentary Series, and Family Restaurant (Food Network Canada), which garnered the 2009 Banff Rockie Grand Prize for Best Entertainment Program as well as the Rockie award for Best Lifestyle/Information Program. Margaret is currently executive producer on a new original health and fitness series for AMI, Canada Mind Set Go.
